About twelve years ago, Marlene White took her first ceramics class and for the past ten years
she has been selling her bowls, trays, plates, etc. at art fairs in Chicago’s north suburbs.
Her designs are the result of various influences–art deco, mid-century American design, and Asian art
as well as the bright under glaze colors she uses. Marlene says her unique designs are food safe
because she intends her work to be used and enjoyed every day.
