Nancy Paradies received her Bachelor of Fine Art from Northern Illinois University and her Master Degree in Art Education from the University of Illinois. She taught art for 26 years. Throughout the years, she has worked in watercolors, acrylics, photo imagery and pen and ink, and has studied and painted in the United States and Europe.
“From the Vineyard” is Nancy’s new series of acrylic paintings capturing the vineyards, the grapes just before harvest, the beauty of the bottles and the labels collected from around the world.
Whether it is a picnic in Sonoma or on a hillside in Tuscany, the experience of sipping wine is a scene to be created on canvas.
