Christiane Bouret – my first love is portraits then, figures where I try to capture emotions and/or moods.  I will do landscapes and still life work to change things up, we all need a little variety sometimes.  All my work is done in oil.  I work from live models (at P&C and Northlight Studio) and photos.   All my commissions thus far have been portraits of people and animals using a photograph.  I have been spending more time painting in the last 6 years, more notably in the last year due to the pandemic.
