Art Demo: Mobile Phone Techniques with Jerry Hug

Join us on Wednesday, May 1, 7 p.m. at the Glenview Public Library

The Glenview Art League welcomes Jerry Hug to share techniques for improving our mobile phone photographs. This is a great opportunity for photographers and everyone else to make the most of modern phone cameras.
Jerry Hug has been a photographer for 50 years. His works have appeared in the Chicago Cultural Center, the main rotunda of the Thompson State of Illinois Building in Chicago, among many other locations. His works have been nationally published and are in included in various private collections on the North Shore. Jerry has won various awards for his photography throughout the greater Chicago area. In 2001 and 2017 he was commissioned to produce a series of Historical Places in Maine Township and was funded by a grant from the State of Illinois and Maine Township.

Jerry has been a professional educator with a fine arts background and retired from the Maine Township High Schools where he was Chairman of the Fine Arts Department. Recently he served as the Vice President and Public Relations Director of the Photographic Society of America serving over 6000 photographers.
Jerry teaches at the Chicago Botanical Gardens, Photographic Society of America iPhone Study Groups on Zoom across the United States. His website is jerryhug.com
