A bench near the school grounds was dedicated in memory of the late Virginia Edwards, 1944-2021. Edwards was president of the Glenview Art League from 1992-1998. She organized the Summer Art Fair for many years.

A Silent Auction raised funds for the Glenview Art League’s Youth Art Fair. Items were donated by generous community businesses including: Abt, Artsy Heart (newly opened in the Glen), the Chicago White Sox, Chipotle, CKF Acupuncture, Colonial Dental, Elements Massage, Gail’s Brownies, Hackney’s, Johnny’s, Kohl Children’s Museum, Lynfred Winery, Oil Lamp Theater, Target, Yoga Six and more. Many artists’ works were also included in the auction.

“I’m grateful to many volunteers who pitched in to give artists a warm welcome and keep the event running smoothly,” said Deb Anderson, president of the Glenview Art League, “We are a nonprofit organization and our events are run by volunteers committed to promoting art in Glenview.” Summer Art Fair community sponsors include Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, The Doetsch Team, Del Vasey Insurance, Expedia Cruise Center, Abt, Elements Massage – Glenview, Yoga Six, Sunset Foods, and Goode & Fresh Pizza.
