Drop off completed canvases on 9/13, 9:30 to noon! The Glenview Art League, in cooperation with the Glenview Public Library, will sponsor the sixth annual small-canvas art exhibition and competition this September. The art theme of the 2025 contest is “CONNECTION”. Canvases measuring 6 by 6 inches will be handed out, free of charge, to the first 100 contestants. Each contestant will have 10 weeks to complete their pieces of art and return it to the library for exhibition in the library’s lobby from September through November. All completed canvases will be judged on their quality and how well each entry follows the theme. All contestants must be 18 years of age or older.
Dates to Remember:
- Saturday, June 21, 9:30-noon: Pick up 6×6 canvas from the Glenview Public Library, first come first served
- Saturday, September 13, 9:30-noon: Drop off finished 6×6 canvas to the Glenview Public Library
- Thursday, September 18: Show begins and lasts through Friday, November 14
- Thursday, September 25, 6-7 p.m.: Reception in library lobby
- Friday, November 14: Show ends
- Saturday, November 15, 9:30-noon: Pick up artwork from the library
